Experience
William (Skip) Crawford, an experienced trial attorney, and F&P Principal since 2006, heads the firm’s Newark, DE office. He represents clients in State and Federal Courts across Maryland and Delaware. Skip focuses his practice on a broad range of litigation matters, including complex civil disputes, liability defense cases, and workers’ compensation claims. He routinely advises employers, insurers, and third-party administrators on claim evaluation, risk management, and litigation strategy.
Skip has significant experience in trucking and transportation law, including defending liability and insurance coverage claims involving motor carriers, brokers, logistics companies, and their insurers. He is also a member of the firm’s 24-hour emergency response team, responding to accidents and incidents that occur outside of business hours.
Skip takes a hands-on approach to trial preparation and courtroom advocacy. This includes assessing risk, anticipating challenges, and providing clear, results-oriented counsel from pre-litigation through resolution for clients.
While in law school, Skip served as a teaching assistant to Professor Richard Boldt and supervised students in the clinical law program, further developing his passion for legal mentorship.
