Experience
Jason King practices as counsel for Franklin & Prokopik, serving the needs of the firm’s clients in central and southeastern Virginia, including the Richmond Metropolitan and Hampton Roads areas. He is a seasoned civil litigator with more than 20 years of experience. He has extensive experience defending professional, products, premises, transportation, and other general liability lawsuits in state and federal courts, and has handled all phases of the litigation process in a lead role, including trials and appeals. Before joining Franklin & Prokopik, Jason practiced as an associate and a partner for a mid-sized, southeast regional law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, as a staff attorney for a large property & casualty insurer, and as counsel for a boutique medical malpractice defense firm.
Activities
Jason maintains licenses to practice law in Virginia, Georgia, and Massachusetts. Jason enjoys exercising, traveling, reading, and spending time with his family, friends, and pointer-mix rescue in his spare time.
