Throughout her time at F&P, Renee has gained experience in a variety of areas, including premises liability, employment law, and general liability defense within the trucking and transportation industry. In addition to her active trucking and transportation litigation practice, Renee prepares various transportation contracts, including transportation services agreements and equipment leases and assists clients with issues related to regulatory compliance. As part of her regulatory compliance practice, Renee advises clients on compliance with WMATC regulations and assists them with resolving issues of non-compliance pending before the Commission, and, when appropriate, litigates matters on their behalf. Renee also practices in the areas of commercial litigation and landlord/tenant.
Before joining Franklin & Prokopik, Renee worked as an associate for a general practice law firm in Columbia, Maryland where she represented small businesses and individuals in litigation throughout Maryland.
While attending law school, Renee gained trial experience as a Rule 16 Student Attorney in the Saul Ewing Civil Advocacy Clinic and served as a Staff Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Forum. She also served as a summer associate at a family law firm in Towson and as a law clerk for two general practice litigation firms.

Renee is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association. She is a Baltimore native and enjoys visiting M&T Bank Stadium to cheer on the Ravens. In her free time, Renee enjoys yoga, running, and spending time with her family.
