Experience
Larry Corry joined Franklin & Prokopik in October 2022. His primary practice area is litigation liability defense. He has over thirty years of experience in insurance law. Prior to joining Franklin & Prokopik, he spent over twenty-one years in the home office of a large insurance company overseeing claim files from numerous jurisdictions throughout the country at all phases of the claims handling and litigation process. He worked with claims professionals and defense counsel evaluating damages, liability, and the law on first and third-party claims covering serious injuries, contract, coverage, and bad faith issues. Prior to his work in the home office, Larry worked as a litigator in both staff counsel and private practice. Larry served in the United States Marine Corps.
Activities
Larry is a member of the Commonwealth of Virginia Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. As the son of a diplomat, Larry traveled and lived extensively abroad. Larry continues to enjoy traveling with his family. Larry was an NCAA Division I wrestler and enjoys watching and supporting the local professional teams as well as the English Premier League.
