Experience
Victor Atta Dakwa earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law in 2025. During law school, he served as the President of the Intellectual Property and Technology Association, Vice-President of the Black Law Student Association, and Treasurer of the Health Law Society. In addition to these he externed at the Housing Department at the Akron Municipal Court, where he assisted individuals to find resources to help them with their housing needs. Additionally, he served as a student representative for the Wellness Committee at the University of Akron School of Law. He also externed for the Honorable Lydia Griggsby at the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
Prior to law school, he worked at the Baltimore City Health Department as the Executive Assistant to Dr. Leana Wen, and then as a Guardianship Specialist at the Baltimore City Health Department’s Division of Aging and CARE Services.
Activities
Victor loves to travel and explore different restaurants. He loves running outdoors, spending time with family, learning more about his Ghanaian heritage, and being at the beach.
