Experience

Julio Muñoz Jr has joined Franklin & Prokopik’s Herndon, Virginia office concentrating his practice primarily in the area of workers compensation. Prior to joining the F&P team, Julio worked at Farah & Farah, assisting in auto accident and personal injury cases. During law school at Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, Julio was part of the Advanced Immigration Clinic, where he assisted several clients from various countries with their immigration proceedings, including appearing as a representative in an Asylum Hearing against the Department of Homeland Security. Julio also interned at the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association. As an intern, he conducted outstanding research and analysis in the Housing/Consumer Departments, where clients faced bankruptcy and evictions. As a full-time student, Julio earned book awards in Mediation and Disability Law, each of which acknowledges his achievement for receiving the highest grade in a class while working two jobs. Prior to law school, he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Saint Leo University, where he was selected to join the Saint Leo Democracy/Immigration in America Honorary Internship.

Activities

Julio is a member of the Virginia State Bar Association. He was born and raised in Deland, Florida, is an avid baseball fan, and is fluent in Spanish. In his spare time, he enjoys powerlifting and traveling with his family.
