Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Christy served as in-house counsel where she specialized in investigating and defending the company in a diverse range of cases, including auto liability, slip and falls, and homeowner claims. Christy began her legal career as an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City. As an Assistant State’s Attorney, Christy prosecuted cases on behalf of the State of Maryland in Baltimore City District and Circuit Courts.

Christy earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Following law school, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Magistrate Ronika J. Sumlin in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Christy obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the Illustrious Morgan State University.

Activities

Outside the office, Christy balances her professional pursuits with a passion for travel, attending sporting events, and enjoying live concerts.
