Experience

Allyson L. Blazey is an associate in Franklin & Prokopik’s workers’ compensation practice group and resident in the Herndon office. Since being sworn into the Virginia Bar in 2018, Allyson has focused her practice exclusively on Virginia Workers’ Compensation. Prior to joining Franklin & Prokopik, Allyson represented employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims before the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission at an insurance defense litigation firm in Virginia.

During law school, Allyson served as a staff editor on the University of Baltimore’s Law review. Allyson graduated in the top 6% of her class and was inducted into the Royal Shannonhouse Honor Society and the Heuisler Honor Society. She also interned at the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General for the Social Security Administration, Office of Counsel to the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program, and the United States MINT.

Activities

Allyson is a member of the Virginia State Bar. She enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her husband and family in her spare time.
