Experience
Steph Slover concentrates her litigation practice primarily in the area of insurance defense. Prior to joining Franklin & Prokopik, she served with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the Compliance and Employment Unit of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Steph earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and completed a concentration in Forensic Studies at Stevenson University. She graduated with honors before earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Steph brings a broad range of civil and criminal litigation experience to her practice. During law school, she clerked for the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, where she developed a strong interest in trial advocacy and litigation. Following graduation, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Julie L. Glass of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Maryland.
Steph subsequently served as an Assistant State Prosecutor for the State of Maryland and was selected to serve on the Fraud and Corruption Task Force within the Maryland Office of the Attorney General. She later transitioned to federal service with the Office of the Inspector General for the Social Security Administration, where she gained extensive experience handling a diverse range of civil litigation matters and developed significant courtroom experience.
Steph is also a certified professional mediator.

Activities
Steph is a native of Baltimore County, Maryland, and is an avid runner and tennis player. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her children.
