Experience
DeAndre Douglas is an associate at Franklin & Prokopik’s Baltimore office, focusing his litigation practice on liability defense. Prior to joining the firm, DeAndre worked as an analyst at an investment fund, providing strategic investment insights, and most recently gained experience litigating complex environmental and product liability matters.
DeAndre earned his undergraduate degree from Florida International University, majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in International Relations. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law.
While at Howard, DeAndre was an active member of the National Moot Court Team, where he earned recognition for Best Brief in an interscholastic competition. His involvement with the team provided him with substantial experience in appellate advocacy, particularly in antitrust litigation. During law school, he further developed his legal skills through several clerkships, including with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of the Solicitor; Earthjustice as a summer associate; and a Maryland-based financial rights defense firm.
Activities
Outside of his legal practice, DeAndre enjoys playing golf and watching sports.
