Description
Pursuant to the Maryland Health Care Malpractice Claims Act, claims against health care providers, including facilities, for medical injuries, must first be filed in the Healthcare Alternative Dispute Resolution Office (“HCADRO”). This presentation will provide an overview of the arbitration process as well as the procedures for waiving arbitration and the nuances associated with medical malpractice claims.
