A Counsel with the firm, Steve concentrates his civil litigation practice in the area of liability defense, such as products liability, premises liability, and commercial transportation, and also in a wide range of commercial disputes in the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Steve also represents clients in a variety of administrative and regulatory proceedings with state and federal agencies.
Bar Admissions
Steve became a member of the Maryland State Bar in 2005 and he is also admitted to the bar of the United States District Court of Maryland and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Education
Steve obtained his Bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University in 2002. He earned his Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University College of Law in 2005, graduating with the honor of Order of the Barristers. During law school Steve served as a law clerk for the United States International Trade Commission. Prior to law school, Steve received a one year fellowship from West Virginia University to work in London as a researcher for two members of the British House of Commons.

Mr. Marshall is a member of DRI: The Voice of the Defense Bar, where he serves as the Chair of the Blog/Website for the Product’s Liability Committee. Mr. Marshall also serves as General Counsel to the Towing Recovery Professionals of Maryland. Before joining the firm, Mr. Marshall practiced construction law focusing on complex civil litigation disputes between homeowners, developers and builders.
