Mr. Hoffman concentrates his practice on civil litigation, with a primary focus on liability defense. Mr. Hoffman also defends corporations and individuals in civil matters involving auto torts, premises liability, commercial transportation, intentional torts, insurance coverage disputes, and professional malpractice. Mr. Hoffman is also experienced practicing before the federal appellate courts.
Bar Admissions
Mr. Hoffman is admitted to practice before all state courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Education
Mr. Hoffman received his B.A. in political science from Wake Forest University in 2000, where he actively involved in student government and Sigma Pi fraternity. In 2003, he received his J.D. from the Case Western University Reserve School of Law.
