During this webinar, F&P attorneys will cover three main areas pertaining to the topic at hand. First, a general overview will be provided of the 9-610 statutory offset provision applicable to governmental employers under the MD Workers’ Compensation Act. Second, we will discuss the Court of Appeals decision in Reger v. Washington County Board of Education. Finally, we will review issues pertaining to application of the offset in light of Reger and the Court of Special Appeals Decision in Zakwieia v. Baltimore County Board of Education.
