Prior to joining Franklin & Prokopik, Miranda worked as a subject matter specialist for Catholic Relief Services and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops at the agency’s headquarters in Baltimore. She successfully navigated in-country non-profit registrations in a large number of countries where CRS works while also serving as the agency’s sole OFAC sanctions and BIS export controls specialist.
During law school, Miranda completed a legal internship at the U.S. District Court of Maryland before spending three years as a litigation support law clerk for Holzman and Associates, LLC. This experience enabled her to bring unique knowledge of the ins and outs of plaintiff personal injury and the inner workings of the federal court system.

Miranda is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association. Miranda is native to St. Mary’s County, Maryland and gets home as much as possible to spend time on the water. She also enjoys being outside in general and reading.
