Prior to joining Franklin & Prokopik, Landon worked for a large defense firm representing clients throughout the state of West Virginia. He also gained valuable experience during his time at a small plaintiff’s law firm in Bridgeport, West Virginia. These experiences enabled Landon to analyze complex issues through different perspectives being both a plaintiff’s and defendant’s attorney in the past.
While in law school, Landon was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. He was awarded second place for the Best Brief category at the 3rd annual Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition at Elon University School of Law, and his moot court team ended up winning first place in the entire competition. Before attending law school, Landon worked with his father on residential construction projects, and as a batting instructor and youth baseball coach.

Activities
Landon is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia. He also served as a member on the committee for the 30th Annual Bernie Hutzler Golf Class Tournament was an adjunct professor in 2015 at Fairmont State University teaching Aviation Law to undergrad students. Landon is a native of Bridgeport, West Virginia. He is an avid WVU sports fan and enjoys spending time the outdoors. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his fiancée, Jehan, by traveling to and exploring areas and attractions within the region.
