Areas of Practice:
Counsel at the law firm of Franklin & Prokopik, Jennifer L. Banach concentrates her civil litigation practice primarily in the area of Maryland workers’ compensation defense. An experienced litigator, Jennifer has successfully defended businesses, employers, commercial landlords and insurance companies at mediation, arbitration and trial in the state of Maryland. Prior to joining Franklin & Prokopik, Jennifer worked as corporate counsel for a medium-sized Baltimore business and as defense counsel to various insurance companies and the Housing Authority of Baltimore City in complex toxic tort litigation.
During law school, Jennifer wrote for the University of Baltimore Law Forum Journal and was selected to represent the school on the National Labor Law Moot Court Team. Following law school, Jennifer served as a law clerk to the Hon. John S. Kaull, Magistrate Judge for the United States District County, Northern District of West Virginia. She has also been re-appointed to serve on the Maryland State Bar Association’s (MSBA) Publications Committee for the fiscal year 2018-2019.
