Experience
Danielle Takacs is an associate in F&P’s Herndon office as a member of its workers’ compensation team. Prior to joining F&P, Danielle served as a legal intern for AquaLaw, PLC where she researched issues related to the Clean Water Act, statutes, and regulations related to NPDES permits, FOIA, stormwater facility operator requirements, and Confidential Business Information. She also worked for the Environmental Protection Agency as a Federal Facilities Enforcement Office Law Clerk.
A graduate of the William and Mary law school, Danielle was an articles editor on the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review and a member of the Student Environmental & Animal Law Society. Her note, “When the Well Runs Dry: Why Water-Rich States Need to Prepare for Climate Change and Protect Their Groundwater,” was published in October 2018.
Activities
Danielle is a member of the Virginia Bar Association. She is originally from Michigan and in her free time, she enjoys working out, listening to podcasts, and traveling.
