Experience
Colin Grigg is an experienced litigator who represents clients in a variety of areas including motor torts, premises liability, property disputes, intentional torts, and criminal defense. Colin has litigated over 80 trials, including more than 25 jury trials to verdict.
Prior to joining F&P, Colin was an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted thousands of criminal cases. Colin was assigned to the homicide division before his departure. Colin was also the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Althea M. Handy in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. During his clerkship, Judge Handy was the Judge in Charge of the Civil Docket and a sitting judge on the Business and Technology Docket. Colin has litigated over 85 trials, including more than 25 jury trials to verdict.
While in law school, Colin scored a top spot in the University of Maryland’s Myerowitz Moot Court Competition and served on the school’s Moot Court Board as an Executive Board Member. Colin also participated in the school’s Business Law Program and received a concentration in business law.

Activities
Colin is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association. Outside of work, Colin likes to remain active. He enjoys exercising, outdoor activities, and traveling with his wife. He is an avid skier and takes annual trips out west for big mountain skiing. A Baltimore native, Colin enjoys socializing with friends and spending time with his family.
