Areas of Practice
Before joining Franklin & Prokopik, Brittany served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable William O. Carr, Administrative Judge, and the Honorable Maurice W. Baldwin, Retired Judge, for the Circuit Court for Harford County.
During law school, Brittany served as the Managing Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Forum. She also served as a Rule 16 Student Attorney for the University of Baltimore Civil Advocacy Clinic and interned for United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland, the Maryland Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure and other local law firms.

Awards and Distinctions
Brittany received the Outstanding Clinic Student Award for excellence in service during her time as a Rule 16 Student Attorney for the University of Baltimore Civil Advocacy Clinic. Upon graduation, Brittany was also admitted to the Heuisler Honor Society, comprised of students in the top 10% of the graduating class. Brittany was also published in the University of Baltimore Law Forum, Kamp v. Dep’t Human Services, 40 U. Balt. L.F. 269 (2010), discussing the role of the “presumed parent” in family law matters in Maryland.
Brittany is a member of Maryland State Bar Association and The Bar Association of Baltimore City. She is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and currently resides in Harford County. Brittany is also active on several teams as part of social sports leagues in Baltimore City.
