Experience

Alyssa Fetterolf concentrates her active litigation practice primarily in the area of liability defense for the commercial transportation industry. She represents clients in a variety of matters including cargo loss, catastrophic accident/injury/tort claims, commercial transactions, independent contractor/employee status issues and property loss. Since joining F&P, Alyssa has gained experience defending motor carriers and their drivers through all aspects of the litigation process, from on-site investigation through trial.

Alyssa became involved in the transportation industry immediately following law school, by exclusively representing plaintiffs injured in car accidents. This experience enabled her to bring a unique knowledge of the plaintiff’s strategy to our team.

During law school, Alyssa won an award for her dedicated service to the law school community and served as a staff member of the Public Interest Law Review. Alyssa gained valuable experience during law school including interning with the Hon. Anthony J. Trenga at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (Alexandria), interning with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), interning with the Fredericksburg Public Defender, and representing clients as a Student Associate for the University of Richmond Children’s Defense Clinic.
