John Simanski joined Franklin & Prokopik as an associate in September 2019. He concentrates his litigation practice in the area of liability defense with a focus on automobile torts and premises liability matters. He has experience in all stages of the litigation process, including taking and defending depositions, drafting motions, and representing his clients in the mediation process as a method of alternative dispute resolution.
Before joining F&P, John served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Cahill Jr. in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. In law school, John was the Editor-in-Chief for the University of Baltimore Law Forum. Also, while in law school, John worked as an adjuster for Travelers in the Special Liability Group. Furthermore, John served as a law clerk at Rollins, Smalkin, Richards, and Mackie, L.L.C.
John is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association. As an undergraduate, he played Division I Lacrosse for Saint Joseph’s University Men’s Lacrosse team. John is a graduate of Loyola Blakefield in Towson, Maryland. He is an avid sports fan and follows the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. In his spare time, he enjoys playing squash and golf.
